The second release in the 1/24 series! The Scopedog Red Shoulder Custom is finally here!
The first release in the 1/24 series, the Scopedog, was very well received by fans.
Among its many variations, the Scopedog Red Shoulder Custom is especially popular, as it is based on the setting that it was used by the Special Mission Unit X-1, feared in the series as the “Vampire Unit.” It now joins the lineup as the second release.
This product recreates the unit with its left shoulder painted red, which appeared in episode 10 of the TV anime and played an active role in episode 11, together with various weapons.
As with the Scopedog itself, the weapons also feature newly added details by Kunio Okawara.
The kit is a snap-fit type that does not require adhesive, and it is a fully articulated model with polycaps used in each joint.
In addition to thoroughly recreating the appeal of the AT with features such as the cockpit, arm punch, landing mechanism, and turn pick, it also includes the distinctive Red Shoulder Custom equipment: a 9-tube missile pod, twin rocket launcher, Gatling gun, and solid shooter.
