The "Missing Link" series is a virtual reissue line, imagining toys that could have existed in that era.
The fourth release features Cliff, known for his passionate personality.
This product is a completely new design, created with the concept: "What if the original Cliff figure had full poseability?" The size, texture, and nostalgic feeling of the era are faithfully preserved.

The ideal Cordon toy is here, updating joint articulation and gimmicks for posing while maintaining the size, transformation patterns, and basic structure—including partial die-cast metal parts—of the original toy.

Every detail, down to the packaging and polystyrene tray, pays thorough homage to the style of the era, bringing back the excitement of opening a Transformers product in the 1980s, even more than a reissue. Cordon, originally released as the third Car Robot product in the patrol car type, has gained recognition as a character in recent years, despite not being introduced as a Transformer at the time.

This product is the first to recreate a toy modeled after the original Cordon from that era.
All joints, which were limited in the original product, have been updated to allow free posing.
A newly designed "Human/Police Officer Type" figure, not included in the original, is added and can be seated in the movable cockpit in both modes.
A chrome-plated Speed Trap Gun, the same model as Lambor’s gun, is included. The punch firing gimmick has been removed and replaced with a fully transforming design, where the fists can retract inside the arms.
Additionally, large attachable punches are included to reproduce the original style.
The familiar "Secret Emblem" is applied to the robot; when warmed by your finger, the faction symbol appears.
Parts that were stickers in the original toy are now recreated with relief molding and paint. Optional stickers are also included for customization.
A joint hole has been added to the back for use with a separately sold display stand, allowing for action poses.
The package illustration is newly drawn in a vintage style, and a collection card featuring the same artwork is included.
