The "Missing Link" series is a virtual reissue line, imagining toys that could have existed in that era.
The fourth release features Cliff, known for his passionate personality.
This product is a completely new design, created with the concept: "What if the original Cliff figure had full poseability?" The size, texture, and nostalgic feeling of the era are faithfully preserved.

The ideal Sunstreaker toy features updated joint articulation for posing and gimmicks seen in the anime, while maintaining the size, transformation patterns, and basic structure—including partial die-cast metal parts—of the original Sunstreaker toy.
From the packaging to the polystyrene tray, every detail is an homage to the original style, bringing back the excitement of opening a Transformers product in the 1980s, even beyond what reissues have offered. Sunstreaker was the first Car Robot product and appeared as an original member in the anime, but was never released as a standalone item in Japan.
This product is the first to recreate the concept of a single box release, making it a long-awaited return in the original style after 39 years since 1986, as no reissue exists.
Each joint, which was limited in movement in the original toy, has been updated for full articulation, allowing for dynamic posing.
A newly designed "Human/Worker Type" figure, which was not included in the original product, is also included. This figure can ride in the movable cockpit in both forms.
To replicate anime scenes, a chrome-plated flare gun identical to Lambor’s is included.
The punch firing gimmick has been removed, replaced with a complete transformation feature that allows the fists to retract inside the arms. Additionally, large attachable punches are included to reproduce the original style. The familiar "Secret Emblem" is applied to the robot, revealing the faction symbol when warmed by your finger.
Parts that were stickers in the original toy are now recreated with relief molding and paint. Optional foil stickers are also included, allowing you to change the shoulder color to metallic yellow.
A stand joint hole has been added to the back for use with a separately sold display stand, allowing for action poses.
The package illustration is newly drawn in a vintage style, and a collection card featuring the same artwork is also included.
