Toyota Supra Turbo 1994 Fast & Furious 1/12 Scale Model Car KYOSHO Original NIB
The Toyota Supra featured in the car action film The Fast and the Furious is now available as a KYOSHO Original resin model.
In the first film, Brian O'Conner brings a wrecked red Toyota Supra to Dom (Dominic Toretto)'s garage, where it is rebuilt. The car plays an important role in bringing Brian and Dom's crew together.
It can also be regarded as a forerunner of what is now widely known as "JDM" customization. The body, wrapped in vinyl graphics, influenced car enthusiasts around the world and became a signature customization style during the subsequent sport compact car boom.
To create the model, the vehicle research was conducted in Los Angeles.
Actual movie cars and hero cars used in the film were scanned and photographed to create the model data.
The BOMEX aero parts, two NOS tanks mounted in the rear, and the interior gauges have also been reproduced based on the vehicles examined during the research.
The Supra features a targa top, which is rare in Japan, offering an impressive view of the interior.
