This is a 1/200 scale architectural model that faithfully reproduces the interior of the Tower of the Sun.
The Tower of the Sun was created as the symbol of the Japan World Exposition EXPO '70 (commonly known as the Osaka Expo), and still stands tall today, spreading its arms wide alone in the grassy plaza as a presence that can be described as a "divine statue." Inside the tower, there is the "Tree of Life," where creatures from ancient times to the present crowd together, and the inside of both arms features a complex truss structure. This is a three-dimensional representation of Taro Okamoto's masterpiece artwork and an unprecedented monument in human history, recreated in its present form after about 50 years since its construction. This unique fusion of artwork and architecture created by Taro Okamoto is now available as a plastic model kit that allows you to observe the surfaces, forms, and designs from various angles. You can enjoy assembling and painting it. It can also be appreciated as a one-of-a-kind three-dimensional anatomical diagram.
