As the name implies, popular characters from the Transformers universe come together in the same world to create a new generation. Following Kingdom, popular Beast Wars characters continue to be refined, and additional popular characters from post–Beast Wars eras will debut one after another.
To commemorate the 40th anniversary of Transformers, popular characters from all universes have been gathered in the new series Transformers Legacy United. Decepticon Dinoking is a combiner warrior formed by the merger of six dinosaur units.
The set includes the following dinosaur units with their respective weapons: Tyrannosaurus-type unit leader Goryu, Ankylosaurus-type defense soldier Gairyu, Triceratops-type assault soldier Kakuryu, Stegosaurus-type land warrior Doryu, Pteranodon-type high-speed soldier Yokuryu, and Brontosaurus-type sea demon soldier Rairyu.
