Fast & Furious Dodge Charger R/T 1970 Black 1/18 Scale Diecast Car Kyosho NIB
1/18 scale die-cast model with opening features
Vehicle featured in The Fast and the Furious
The Dodge Charger featured in the car-action film The Fast and the Furious is now available as an original die-cast model from KYOSHO.
Although its specifications change throughout the series, this car remains one of the franchise's most iconic vehicles and plays a prominent role as the personal car of Dom (Dominic Toretto).
The model is based on the car's earliest configuration from the first film.
After sitting quietly in the garage, the Charger is finally driven by Dom. Near the end of the story, it crashes and is heavily damaged during a street race with Brian O'Conner, but its wheelie at the start leaves viewers with a powerful impression of an American muscle car.
Research for the model was conducted in Los Angeles.
Cars actually used in the film, including movie cars and hero cars, were scanned and photographed to create the model data.
Areas where details are difficult to see in the film, such as under the hood and inside the trunk, have also been meticulously reproduced.
Highlights include the detailed piping of the powerful engine and the chassis details, which were studied with the actual vehicle raised on a lift.
Displaying it alongside the Supra, also available in the lineup, recreates the starting scene of the final street race with remarkably authentic detail!
This is your chance to own a highly detailed, large-scale Fast & Furious model!
