The Leopard 2, developed by Germany, is a third-generation main battle tank regarded as one of the most capable in the world. Widely adopted throughout Europe, as well as in North and South America and Southeast Asia, this highly regarded tank is often referred to as the "European standard tank" due to its widespread use. The A5, an advanced variant, was upgraded under a combat capability enhancement program. Wedge-shaped add-on armor was added to the front and sides of the turret to improve protection. The fire-control system was also enhanced, improving both offensive and defensive capabilities. The sharply projecting wedge-shaped armor significantly changes the appearance from earlier Leopard 2 variants and gives the current model its distinctive presence. This model precisely recreates the various shapes and details of the Leopard 2A5. The turret rotates, the main gun can be raised and lowered, and the commander's panoramic sight is movable. User-installable simulated smoke device parts are included. The hatches and rooftop beacon can be displayed in your choice of configuration.
