Yoshimin staff's impression of Lazarus
Share
We still can't forget the excitement and emotion Cowboy Bebop brought us—at least, I definitely can't. (´;ω;`)✨
And with LAZARUS airing this season, it's filled with scenes, cuts, and details that vividly remind me of Cowboy Bebop. Honestly, when I first saw episode one, I thought it was just copying Cowboy Bebop—sorry about that! But considering it's from the same director, it actually makes sense, and now I'd say it's more like a respectful homage, haha. (*≧▽≦)ノシ
Even the character names feel inspired by Bebop, and having voice actors like Koichi Yamadera and Megumi Hayashibara involved makes it clear they're doing this intentionally. Cowboy Bebop set the bar so high that I haven't really found another show that matches its brilliance yet, but I'm definitely excited to see how LAZARUS turns out! ( •̀ᄇ• ́)ﻭ✧
